The GTM Blueprint: Living Documentation for Fast-Scaling Teams

When a RevOps leader leaves, they often take the "System Map" with them in their head. This creates massive technical debt for the next person. Every scaling team needs a GTM Blueprint.
The 4 Components of a GTM Blueprint
1. The System Map
A visual diagram (Lucidchart/Miro) of every tool in your stack and how data flows between them. If you can't draw it, you don't understand it.
2. The Data Dictionary
A searchable list of every field in your CRM, who owns it, what it's used for, and its expected values. Pro-tip: Link the field description in the CRM directly to the Data Dictionary entry.
3. The Lifecycle Map
A step-by-step diagram of how a lead moves from "Unknown" to "Customer." Include every automation trigger and SLA.
4. The Change Log
A record of every major architectural change, why it was made, and who approved it.
Documentation is not a "nice to have." It is the Infrastructure of Scaling. If your system isn't documented, it isn't scalable.
